Privacy policy

Effective October 18, 2026. This policy covers GovBot County Hazard Intelligence at county.govbot.ai, operated by Ideation Lab, Corp.

Information processed and purposes

The service processes tool arguments such as place names, geographic identifiers, filters and pagination to retrieve public records. It processes network and request metadata, including IP address, time, route, response status and user agent, to operate and protect the service. It does not require an account, use advertising cookies or collect payment information. Do not include confidential information or sensitive personal data in tool arguments or URLs.

Recipients

Google Cloud hosts the gateway and processes operational request metadata. GovBot’s data services process lookup arguments; public data publishers, including FEMA, Census, NWS and OpenFEMA, may receive the query parameters needed for a live source request. We do not forward caller authorization credentials to these publishers. The client you use, such as ChatGPT, processes your conversation and returned records under its own privacy policy.

Retention

Operational request logs are retained for 30 days. The gateway does not log tool arguments, request bodies or returned records. Rate-limit identifiers are held in process memory and cleared within 60 seconds; tool arguments are processed for the request and are not stored by this gateway. Public source holdings are maintained separately as dated research records, not as a history of your queries.

Your choices and contact

You can stop using or disconnect the service at any time, limit queries to public place identifiers, and manage conversation history through your client. For privacy questions or requests concerning access, correction or deletion of information associated with your use, contact hello@govbot.ai. We will assess requests against the limited information we hold and applicable requirements. Do not send credentials or sensitive personal information.
