GovBot County Hazard Intelligence
Read-only public records for U.S. county hazard and mitigation planning research. No account or sign-in is required.
What the service adds
GovBot resolves place names to Census geographic identifiers and matches them to the FEMA mitigation plan registry. It brings checked, dated source holdings and available live reads into a county workflow, preserving each source’s provenance, geography, vintage and coverage qualifications.
Sources include FEMA, Census, NWS and OpenFEMA public data used under their published terms. Source records remain distinct; missing records do not establish absence.
Available operations
- Resolve place and county identity candidates.
- Retrieve a county hazard and planning brief.
- Read NFIP community participation and CRS records.
- Retrieve county resilience context.
- List held FEMA flood-study metadata.
The MCP endpoint is https://county.govbot.ai/mcp. Three workflows support county profiles, flood insurance and resilience context, and mitigation planning overviews.
Scope and support
County summaries do not determine property flood zones, individual insurance coverage, premiums, eligibility or present safety. For immediate conditions, consult current official emergency information. GovBot is not affiliated with or endorsed by FEMA, any government agency or OpenAI.
